Account & billing

Hexcalibur runs on your Axidus account - one account shared across every Axidus product. Everything account-related lives in one place: sign in at axidus.io and open your dashboard to manage your profile, security settings, and billing.

Three ways to sign in, all reaching the same account:

  • Google - one click with your Google account.
  • Email link - a one-time sign-in link sent to your inbox, no password needed.
  • Email and password - the classic way, with browser autofill support.

Methods that use the same email address link to one account, so you can continue with Google today and use an email link tomorrow - your packs, plan, and settings follow the account, not the sign-in method.

Your session is shared between axidus.io and hexcalibur.axidus.io: signing in on one signs you in on both. To sign out, use the account avatar menu in either app.

Open Account from the dashboard at axidus.io. From there you can:

  • Profile - set your display name and upload an avatar. The avatar shows in the top bar of Hexcalibur and across Axidus.
  • Email - change the email address on your account (confirmed by verification email).
  • Password - set or change your password.
  • Two-factor authentication - add an authenticator app as a second factor, with one-time recovery codes as the backup path. Once enrolled, sign-in and sensitive account changes ask for your second factor.
  • Active sessions - see every device currently signed in and sign out any of them remotely.
  • Data export - download a copy of the data your account holds.
  • Email preferences - choose which product emails you receive.

Hexcalibur has a Free plan and a Pro plan. Free covers real work on a single pack; Pro removes the caps and unlocks the pack-level workflow - cloud sync, multi-asset export bundles, and the rest. The full comparison lives on Free vs Pro, and current prices are on the pricing page.

Pro comes in three shapes:

  • Monthly - renews every month.
  • Annual - renews once a year.
  • Lifetime - pay once, keep Pro permanently. No renewal.

Start from the pricing page, or from inside Hexcalibur - the upgrade dialog that appears when you reach a Pro feature takes you to the same checkout.

Checkout and payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar processes the payment, handles any applicable tax or VAT, and sends your receipts and renewal reminders - so expect billing emails from Polar, and Polar’s name alongside Axidus on your card statement.

Pro unlocks immediately after checkout, in the same browser session.

Open Billing in your account at axidus.io (or pick Manage Subscription from the account avatar menu in Hexcalibur). From there, the customer portal lets you:

  • Update your payment method
  • View invoices
  • Cancel - your plan stays Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then moves to Free. No partial-period cutoff.

Lifetime has no renewal to manage, but the portal still serves your invoice.

Already subscribed and want to stop renewing? Buy Lifetime and your monthly or annual subscription is canceled automatically - it runs out the time you already paid for while Lifetime takes over immediately. You never hold two overlapping paid plans.

Canceling (or a failed renewal) never deletes anything:

  • Your work stays. Every pack and asset on the device remains intact and editable, even past the Free-plan caps - the caps only stop you from creating new packs and assets beyond the Free limits.
  • Pro features lock. Pro-only tools return to showing the upgrade dialog.
  • Cloud sync pauses. Synced packs stay readable, new edits stay local-only from then on, and re-subscribing resumes syncing from where it left off - see Cloud sync.

Account deletion lives on the account page at axidus.io. It removes your account and its data permanently - if you want a copy of anything, run a data export first, and if you have an active subscription, cancel it before deleting.
